WTAE Anchors Divorce
Janelle Hall is a journalist and broadcaster who has earned several accolades for her work. She is the anchor of the award-winning WTAE news program. Her reporting career began when she was a high school student at two radio stations in her hometown of Oil City, Pennsylvania. She graduated from Kent State University with a degree in broadcast journalism.
During her career, she has covered a wide range of topics for the station. For example, she has worked as a general assignment reporter, as well as the weekend morning anchor. As a result, she has won several awards, including a national William Randolph Hearst journalism award. Aside from her reporting duties, Hall has also volunteered as a mentor to a local teenager. Some of her notable accomplishments include covering heart-warming human interest stories, as well as tragedy-related breaking news items.
After working as a reporter at a number of radio stations, Hall joined WTAE-TV in September 2004. She is currently the evening co-anchor for the station’s Action News 4, which airs four nights a week at 6 p.m. and the weekend morning anchor for the channel’s Project Bundle-Up Telethon.
She is also a board member of the St. Anthony Charitable Foundation, which gives out scholarships to students with disabilities. In addition, Hall has worked as a volunteer in the Big Brothers Big Sisters program. However, Hall’s personal life is mostly kept private. Previously, she was married to her college sweetheart Casey Ellis. They had a son together, Austin Joseph. Several years later, they divorced without any explanation.
According to the website, Hall has a net worth of between $1 million and $5 million. She has won several awards, including the national William Randolph Hearst journalism prize and the Lending Hearts award. She has also been awarded numerous commendations for her work, including an Emmy.
When she was a student at Kent State, she met her future husband, Casey Ellis. While they were in college, they were both avid sports fans. Ellis was a basketball player for Kent State, and later became a personal trainer in Pittsburgh. Their relationship lasted for several years. Unfortunately, their marriage ended in divorce, a fact that has been kept hidden by Hall.
Hall has since settled down with fellow news anchor John Meyer. Together, she and Meyer have a daughter and a son. Both of them have been spotted at various events, including outdoor festivals. Despite their recent divorce, they remain best friends.
Besides her work at WTAE, Hall is a proud mother and a dedicated partner. She has a large social media following, as evidenced by the pictures of her three children posted on her Instagram account. Currently, she earns a respectable salary of $78,715 a year. She is a member of the advisory committee of Lending Hearts, and is also the host of the station’s annual Project Bundle-Up Telethon. This is one of the most important events that her station hosts. Those interested in learning more about her can visit her Facebook page.
